    Description

    This listing is for (1) New Old Stock (NOS) Genuine Cadillac transmission downshift control switch.This switch is new in the GM box and is Cadillac part #1496165. This switch fits the following Cadillac years and models:
    1970-1976 Cadillac- all models with either the 472 or 500 C.I. engine;
    1977-1979 Cadillac- all models with the 425 C.I. engine.
    This is the transmission downshift control switch that mounts by the side of the carburetor and controls the downshift of the transmission when the accelerator pedal is pushed to the floor. This switch is in pristine condition. With age, the black plastic arm on the side of the switch breaks off.
