Description
This is a charming copper luster creamer that was made in England by Wade Health & Co., Ltd. It stands approximately 3 ½” in height, 4” in length (including handle and spout) and 3 ¼” in width. Applied to the bright white porcelain is a brilliant copper luster finish. Further enhancing this piece is a pretty flower and leaf pattern that is featured in the center of the creamer. The green “Wade Heath England” ink stamp is located on the base which indicates this piece was produced sometime in the period from 1938 to 1950. Despite some scuffs/scratches and slight wear to the copper finish, this creamer is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or any other evidence of damage.About Wade Heath Co., Ltd
: Acquired by George Wade at the beginning of the twentieth century, this firm produced high grade earthenware that included tableware, vases, flower pots and fancies. The company also acquired a reputation for their copper luster wares. According to my research, the firm appears to have ceased operations in 1955.
